Works with Most High-Quality Cookware such as multi-ply stainless steel, enamelled steel or cast iron. Aluminum and copper cookware will not work unless it has a base made of iron or steel. Look for pans marked "Works with Induction" or test to see if a magnet will stick to the bottom.

Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Who could make it so hard to turn on a stove?

joeb8 9/6/2026

The touch screen hearkens back to the era of pre-Apply touch screens where you just about need to punch a hole through the screen to register a "touch". The UI to turn on the stove top and adjust temperature was clearly lead by an engineering team with no oversight from design. It's on par with an escape room but less fun. There's a way to do it, and I'm sure the ENG team knows that way, but have fun learning for yourself.

Nothing but frustration

GGerri 6/17/2026

Don't buy this cooktop. I've only had it for 4 months and KitchenAid will not stand behind their product and they won't pay the Warrantee Repair Service until 90 days have passed since they last looked at it. On April 1, 2026 the control panel was replaced. On April 17th a second repair call was made, KitchenAid case 23241536. The repair service didn't properly inspect the unit and I assumed they took my word for the problems I was having, big mistake. It did responded fairly well the single time a preset temperature button was pressed (6 times instead of 3). The Repair Service and KitchenAid's Senior Tech Advisor concluded it's working according to its design. I wasn't told their conclusion until I called KitchenAid again to follow up on my issues. If I knew the conclusion they both reported I would of insisted the other functions be tested. The preset temperature buttons work the best, not great, but with a little perseverance you can get them to turn on. The Temperature Control Up & Down arrows are a nightmare. I told KitchenAids customer service rep I took a video of me having to press the Temperature arrows 39 times in order to get it to the temperature I wanted. They didn't care. And now at least once a day it completely turns off. Sometimes it flashes the word 'OFF' next to each power on button and sometimes it doesn't. There's no pattern to its disfunction. I left a scathing review on Lowes website and I was so hopeful when I saw KitchenAids response to my review on 5/18/26. I called KitchenAid on 5/21/26 as instructed per their response and I wasn't told anything different than I initially reported. They are not looking to resolve my issue on my cooktop at all without me having to pay for the service myself. Don't believe KitchenAids response you see posted on Lowes website. I want to throw this expensive appliance out the window. To Whom it May Concern - If you can get my issues resolved or preferably a Return Authorization, I'll contact Lowes to get my review taken off, or at least updated.

Stovetop not working.

Jgg2801 6/16/2026

The large burner on my stove top is not working and stopped working about two weeks after I got it they're ordering parts for it but this shouldn't happen to a new appliance very disappointed

Beautiful to Look at

LendingLady 6/14/2026

It is a beautiful unit, no doubt. Unfortunately it was probably designed for the younger generation who like to control their appliances with their phones. I do not. I find it very frustrating to use. A friend of mine who is a chef, was over for a small dinner party and heard me grousing at the cooktop. He came into the kitchen to see if he could help. After a few tries to make the pasta pot reduce from 'Boil' to 'Simmer' without turning off the unit, which instantly loses your boil, he just shook his head. Cooking isn't fun for me on this cooktop. I'm sad.

Good design but a few quirks

Cowboygc 6/13/2026

First, the good. Nice visually and good layout of burners. Very easy to keep clean. Like bridge feature. Heats quickly. Now the quirks. Controls over sensitive when stove is off - beeps too often. Has a wifi feature which we can't connect to and don't understand. Difficulty adapting to adjusting temperature level

Streamline, clean and precise heat control

TnT Home 6/13/2026

We have all KitchenAid appliances and couldn™€™t be happier. Our previous cooktop was gas, which we™€™ve always had and never considered changing to induction. After getting this one, I only wish we had done it sooner! Once we got the correct cookware, we couldn™€™t believe how well it performed; water boils in the less than 30 seconds and heat control is much more responsive and cleaner too. Clean up is much easier as well. We highly recommend this induction cooktop if you are considering changing from a gas cooktop, you won™€™t regret it.

Issues must have been fixed - cooktop is amazing!

Eliz Searle 1/31/2026

I've read the reviews of others who had issues with pan recognition, but all of my burners recognize my 8" Cuisinart pan (and every other pan). The cooktop performance is great!

Design Flaw dos not work with any 8" pans

edrj2087 10/30/2025

This is the worst appliance ever and the worst customer support. I tried two different brands of induction pans (Green Pan and Circulon). The 8" pans do not get detected on any burners. A service technician came to repair, and spoke with the "Master Technician" at whirlpool. The Master Technician claims that the 8" pans do not have enough ferrous material in the pans. So its a cookware problem. The cooktop therefore is working as designed. I asked to return the item, but since it was install, it cannot be returned. The techician who came out suggested i return the cooktop.

Doesn't do what it says in description

SGould 10/18/2025

I have very expensive induction cookware (Tucci - Green pan). In spite of the fact that this cooktop boasts the ability to sense the size of the pan, it will not work on any of the "burners" with a 8 inch pan. I have to use a 10" or 12" pan to cook one egg. That is ridiculous. Went for Kitchenaid appliances in my new home, but wish I would have kept my GE Cafe like in my old home. Cooking in larger pans, great, won't pick up any small pans or sauce pans at all.........

Poor Quality

JD1720 9/30/2025

Installed less than a month ago and the motherboard is bad. When it went out, it caused the circuit breaker in my house to throw off. The repair person came to day. We won™€™t know for three days the date that the replacement motherboard will be shipped, let alone delivered and installed.
