I bought this a month ago for Mother's Day. My mom loves the light green color of KitchenAid and we needed a new kettle, so it was an obvious choice. We're both super happy with it now. It does it's job well, and actually boils water pretty fast. And it looks beautiful on our countertop as well!

I too bought this kettle about 6 months ago. It is used multiple times a day but after only 3 months I began having issues with it not working on and off. Now it looks as if something has blown in the base as part of it has melted. i am very disappointed as it was not cheap and I expect more from kitchen aid products. I do not recommend this kettle.

Rusted within 1 month.

I received this item as a gift from my Mother and was so happy with it. The kettle gets used multiple times / day. However, as I was filling it today I realized that the seam where the side meets the base on this inside is developing rust. Very disappointed as this goes so well in my kitchen and is otherwise perfect. We will see how the hassle-free replacement goes.

Delightful Addition to My Kitchen
