We purchased this unit to replace a different brand of the same size in a covered wagon yes its one of our Air BB rentals. Due to the construction of the wagon it has no where near the insulating value of a normally constructed room but this unit manages to keep this 8 x 18 wagon with a fiberglass/canvas top cooled in the worst of Arkansass hot summer temperatures. We have only had the unit in place for about 3 months but so far so good

Bought this 6 weeks ago and it works well. The Eco mode is nice and if you want to cool quickly you can. Love the remote and Wi-Fi access. The installation accessories that come with this unit are much greater than comparable units from other brands.

Cool and easy to operate

I have had this over a month and just in time for the long heatwave Southern California expereienced in late summer. It kept the room nice and cool. Machine is easy to run no complicatd set of buttons to figure out. Set the desired temperature and the unit does the rest. It automatially turns off when the set temp is reache and turn back on when the room gets warmer. I like the smartphone operation feature. Teenage son finds it handy. First LG applicance after owning LG cell phones a while back. Very satisfied and woulld reommend to others.

Perfect for my Crafting/Sewing Room

I needed to replace my old a/c which went out and I needed a good one that will keep me cool in my little 11x12 Crafting/Sewing room. In addition I needed a very good one that will keep it cool while I am working with my newly purchased Cricut Autopress heat machine which gets really hot. I am a big fan of LG products since they first came out and I never had any issues with any of them since 2005 yes 2005. Im really happy and pleased that I purchase the LW8022ERSM ThinQ model and so far it stands up to the heat. It keeps my room cool and I can turn it on with my iPhone no matter where I am at.
