Great overall entertainment experience

We have had the LG SG10TY 3.1ch soundbar with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technology for a few weeks and so far we are really enjoying using it. The soundbar is less than 1.3 tall and fits under the tv with no issues. It can be mounted on the wall but we have it resting on the tv stand. My husband managed to set this up quickly with no issues. The soundbar automatically comes on when we switch the tv on so I dont even have to mess with additional controllers. The quality of sound is amazing. Whenever you sit in the living room you have movie quality sound. Dialogue is clear and music sounds like youre at a concert The LG soundbar SG10TY has certainly enhanced our overall entertainment experience.

I cant make this up This is the best soundbar I have owned and used. Setting up the soundbar took a little since it has to be mounted to the wall I wish it had an option to attach legs for use on an entertainment stand. The included guide helped but I did wish it were attached and aligned together instead of split in the middle. Once we got the soundbar mounted and fired up I put on some music and went through the settings. I love that it is able to calibrate for the room. Sound is clear and the subwoofer gives the perfect touch of bass. I also like that this can be paired with the wireless surround speakers. All in all I recommend this soundbar especially if you have one of the new LG OLED tvs to pair it to.

My overall impression is how great the LG SG10TY sounds compared to the overall size. While unpacking I was very skeptical regarding how light and slender this soundbar is. Having a 5.1 home theater system already I had been anticipating the idea of reducing my system to just a soundbar and subwoofer. Until I was unboxing it and assumed it would not produce a decent sound. Surprisingly the sound from this device projected very well into the room. Not only that but it did so while also maintaining very good sound quality. Another great thing about this soundbar is how extremely thin and wall mountable it is. As we have a small room living room I am again looking forward to minimizing my theater system. I can eliminate all my other wired speakers bulky receiver and floor shelves. While gaining a lot more room space. I will be trading a subwoofer for another subwoofer but this LG subwoofer is about half the size as my current one. Small enough I can simply install a little shelf for it on the wall. The hook up process could not be any easier. Simply plug power in to the soundbar and WIRELESS subwoofer separately then plug in the HDMI cord and away we go. I have not mounted my soundbar yet it seems a possibly a little over engineered but at least I know once it is up it will be securely mounted.

Great Soundbar

I am very impressed with this soundbar. I upgraded my 10 year old soundbar that was smaller than this. It just wasnt filling my living room with the riveting sounds I prefer when watching action movies. It did have a subwoofer but adjusting the settings on that was nowhere near as intuitive as this new LG soundbar. With this new LG soundbar I can easily flip between AI Sound Clear Voice Bass Cinema Sports and other pre-programmed themes. Set up was a breeze. I plugged in the optical cord powered up the subwoofer and then plugged in the soundbar. Everything paired without me having to do anything. It immediately worked with my Google Chromecast remote. Setting up the AI sound was a bit more difficult. My living room just doesnt seem to be set up to utilize this feature. I previously kept my subwoofer behind my couch for the oomph but LG wouldnt pair the AI Sound until I placed it next to the soundbar up on my mantle. This means I either need to decide to keep it up on my mantle next to the soundbar or move it to another location in my living room and not use the AI Sound feature. That being said I love this soundbar. I immediately put on Saving Private Ryan to see what kind of sound this thing could put out. Wow. My wife made me turn it down but I felt like I was part of the action. I switched to John Wick and felt the same thing. It was like being in a movie theater where you can feel the action. I linked it to my Google account so I can tell Google to play music raise/lower the volume and everything else you use a regular Google speaker for. The only con is that it doesnt come with a stand. I currently have it leaning against my previous soundbar to stay upright. I wish I had been aware of this before purchasing. I will eventually be mounting this soundbar so that will not be as big of a deal. Overall I would give this soundbar a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

I have an old soundbar at my basement so I spent a good amount of time comparing the two setups. The LG SG10TY setup was very easy including the mounting kit and provided instruction sheets. Things I like: - Great sound stage. The physical size of both LG soundbar and subwoofer are bigger. - Sound is fairly neutral and appreciated. - Wall mounting kit is easy to install - Menu is fairly intuitive to use Things I did not like: - Remote controller is oddly shaped and unnecessarily large. It uses 2xAA batteries. - Limited to wall mount setup Excellent soundbar system for what you pay for. No drama. 4.5/5

Are you enjoy watching my shows much better with the soundbar compared to my old soundbar. It has a much better cinematic effect Dolby Atmos is great period it looks really nice it is modern I love the LG design. It never fails to connect no problem so far with that. There are good settings for different effects. Im very satisfied with this product. I recommend it to anybody and I give it five stars out of five thank you.

The sound quality and volume are amazing I have it in my basement and the sound is so clear and loud I can hear it outside if I turn it up. A thin system designed for todays setups

Being the owner of a couple other LG sound bars I went into this with a certain level of expectation. The ones I have are each a few years older but all were near top of the line models when purchased. The SG10TY may not be a top of the line model but it does produce some very good theatrical quality sound. Bluetooth connections have been greatly improved over prior years. Connecting is a breeze and just about anyone who can use a smartphone could do it in 60 seconds. The depth of the sound bar is amazingly thin. Previous generations had much larger thicker and weightier feels to them. This was definitely designed with wall mounting in areas that may not have studs in mind. It is very light for its size and length. Mine is mounted under a 75 LG television. Unfortunately my LG TV is a few years old at this point and many of the newly designed LG features were not available on it when purchased so there were some potentially cool features that I was not able to test for LG to LG products. However standard HDMI ARC connections were quick easy and painless. It also offers optical audio inputs should one desire. Once installed the sound is immersive and dynamic. It is perhaps a little slow to volume up with being a tad quiet in the lower volume ranges however once you get up past 20 it does really come alive. This may just be the way they are designed these days and I may just be showing my age remembering the systems of times now past where volume went up very quickly and continued up to ear splitting without a limited cap. The subwoofer really shines on this system and not having it hooked up leaves a noticeable difference. Not just in the bass but in overall experience. Overall the system creates an enveloping audio experience that puts the user in the action as it happens on screen. The only complaint I have is the mounting bracket system. It is quite over engineered to be more complicated than need be. Almost as if an MIT engineer designed it when a local community college graduate design would have been more than sufficient. Getting the bar into the mounts can be an experience like playing wheres waldo. Once it aligns it is simple enough but getting there can be an arduous journey. I removed and reinstalled mine a couple times to hide cables and sometimes it went right in other times it was a bit of chore. Overall a great system

The Sg10TY is a great soundbar. Even on low volume everything is deep and clear. Setup was almost ridiculously easy. It is supposed to be wall mounted and has a template for lining up the homes. Pairing the subwoofer to the bar is as easy as plugging them in and powering them on. Control is simple and easy to use.

Tired of the regular tv speakers? I know I was I was ready for something more and I definitely got something more I got the LG SG10TY. The sound bar with its thin sleek look definitely gave me more than I expected. With incredible depth clarity and rich sound incorporated with the powerful deep bass from the subwoofer took my hearing for a ride The install and setup was as easy as it gets. This soundbar I can say made all the difference in the world with sound quality compared to normal tv speakers. Definitely a recommended product.

I have the LG Sound bar SG10TY. I recently bought a new 75 inch TV and was satisfied with the internal speaker. I wanted to try the LG Sound bar because of the sleek and sexy look. Coming out the box it was light and made me anxious to set it up. Had a few issues trying to set it up with the HDMI because my TV is already mounted and I wasnt able to find the correct port. When I tried to connect via the blue tooth it easily connected. The sound enhanced the entire TV experience and makes me more excited about my TV. I also tried it with music from my phone the Bluetooth between devices is seamless and it sounds amazing

My LG OLED Evo G4 TV and the LG Soundbar SG10TY are the perfect match. The Soundbar paired effortlessly with my TV and my TV remote can control both. The sound quality is everything When Im watching a movie the dialogue is crisp and clear even during whispers while the sound effects make me feel inside the action. Music? I only use this to stream music nowno other speakers I own even come close. The AI Sound Pro feature is really cool too it optimizes the sound depending on what youre watching/listening to so you dont need to adjust any settings. In terms of aesthetics it looks amazing mounted perfectly beneath my LG TV. Its low profile minimalist modern design matches that of the TV and the wireless subwoofer tucks away discreetly adding a deep resonant bass you can FEEL as much as you hear. TBH its hard to think of any downsides especially at this price. Exceptional audio quality sleek design and user-friendly features make it a no-brainer purchase

The most AESTHETIC soundbar on the market

Lets start first with how thin this soundbar is I have never seen anything like it I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how thin it is without compromising on sound quality. Although LG recommends this pairs best with their G4 series OLED TVs I own the C4 TV and it pairs well with it too in my opinion. They also meant for this soundbar to hang directly below your TV when you have it mounted to the wall but I currently have my TV on a TV console and the soundbar is laying directly in front of it. I find it works perfectly and again there is no compromise on the sound in my opinion. If that is something making you hesitate purchasing this soundbar let me tell you that you dont have to because if later you want to hang your TV there is no other soundbar that will look and sound better than this one. My favorite feature is that you can also pair it with your phone and play music from Spotify and it plays in HD quality. Overall 10/10 I would recommend this to my family and friends.

What a cinematic audio experience

I recently purchased the LG SG10TY Soundbar and was amazing at the cinematic audio experience. The Dolby 3.1 surround sound simply popped and filled my living room with the subwoofer providing that underlying bass. I was surprised at how quickly it paired with my LG G4 EVO TV in fact installation instructions were completely unnecessary Within 2 minutes I was able to get everything setup and theres no better way to watch and listen to Avatar Way of the Water. With many sound systems and TVs its difficult to balance the music and background sounds with the dialogue. One is usually much louder or softer than the other. But with the LG SG10TY sound bar and subwoofer system the dialogue popped and the music and background simply immersed me in an audio-visual experience. Amazing Review submitted as part of a program that provides a purchase discount.
