we bought this microwave to match our range less than two years ago. it worked fine for a while until a month ago or so a key to turn on fan stopped working. after two weeks most of the keys from 0 (zero) and below also stopped working so the device is now useless. i was able to identify parts numbers and tried samsungparts.com only to find that parts are either not available or not found. so the first problem is that this unit failed in less than two years. our previous over the range microwave was more than 20 years old and was replaced because we wanted a new look and, unfortunately, we selected samsung. the second problem is that the parts to fix it are no longer available. i guess samsung may be good with pure electronics but not with appliances.

Works great...for 18 months

first of all, we really liked this microwave for the first year that we had it. it made a weird noise and the turntable vibrated when it reversed direction but that was livable. however, shortly after the warranty expired, so did the microwave. one day, we realized that it wouldn't shut off with the door closed. no heat but fan, light and turntable kept running. we replaced a door switch and that fixed that. shortly after though, we got a burning rubber smell and it only heated intermittently. it's unfortunate.

This microwave looks great, was easy to install, and so far is working great! The light underneath is not very bright. Thought the 30 second button would auto start but you have to push the start button as well. Those are the reasons I gave it 4s instead of 5s.

I spoke with a Samsung rep. and she was excellent with her training skills she taught me how to program the microwave now it is set up ready to use very easy to use with the touch pad,Love my Samsung keep up the excellent products very truly yours Craig W.
